  • Complete the review within the agreed timeframe (typically 2–3 weeks from acceptance of the review invitation).
  • Disclose any potential conflicts of interest before accepting a review assignment.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of the manuscript content during and after the review process.

Review Guidelines

AMEM follows a double-blind peer review process. Reviewers are not disclosed to authors, and author identities are not disclosed to reviewers. Please ensure your review comments do not inadvertently reveal your identity.

When reviewing a manuscript, please consider:

  • Originality: Is the work novel and does it contribute new knowledge to the field?
  • Scientific rigor: Are the methodology, analysis, and conclusions sound?
  • Relevance: Is the topic within the scope of AMEM?
  • Presentation: Is the manuscript clearly written and well-structured?
  • References: Are the citations current, relevant, and properly formatted?
  • Ethics: Does the study comply with ethical standards?
