Annals of Middle Eastern Medicine (AMEM) provides a range of services to support authors throughout the publication process, from manuscript preparation to post-publication visibility.

Open Access Publishing

AMEM is a fully open-access journal. All published articles are freely available online under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), ensuring maximum visibility and reach for your research.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

As an open-access journal, AMEM charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) upon acceptance of the manuscript. APCs cover the costs of peer review management, copyediting, typesetting, and online hosting.

APCs are payable upon provisional acceptance of the manuscript. Additional charges may apply for manuscripts exceeding word limits.

DOI Assignment

Every published article receives a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI) via Crossref, ensuring permanent and citable identification of your work.

Rapid Publication

AMEM is committed to a timely and efficient editorial process. Accepted articles are published online as "Online First" (ahead of print) immediately after acceptance, ensuring rapid dissemination of your research.

Language Editing Support

Authors whose manuscripts require language editing are encouraged to seek professional editing services prior to submission. Please note that a language editing certificate may be required for manuscripts where English is not the authors' first language.

Plagiarism Check

All submitted manuscripts undergo similarity checking to ensure originality. Authors are encouraged to ensure their manuscripts are free of plagiarism before submission.

Post-Publication Services

• Authors retain the copyright of their published work.
• Articles are indexed and made available through major academic databases and search engines.
• Authors may self-archive their accepted and published manuscripts in institutional or open repositories.
